About Network Mountain
Built on Relationships.
Driven by Results.
Network Mountain was built on a simple belief: the best outcomes in recruiting happen when someone takes the time to truly understand the business, the person, and the problem before they ever start a search.
Ryan Gonyo
Founder, Network Mountain
Ryan did not stumble into electronic security recruiting. He built a career in it intentionally, spending over 14 years learning the industry from the inside out, working with the firms, the professionals, and the leaders that make this space run.
What he found along the way is that most recruiting firms treat placements as transactions. A role comes in, a resume goes out, and nobody asks the harder questions. Ryan built Network Mountain to do it differently. Every search starts with understanding the business. Every candidate conversation starts with understanding the person. The placement is a byproduct of doing both well.
Network Mountain was built on referrals and repeat relationships. That is not a strategy. It is a standard. When you do right by people, they come back. They send others. They call you when they are the ones hiring. That is the network we are building.
Why We Exist
Built to Solve a Real Problem
Electronic security is a specialized world. The companies in this space are not looking for a recruiter who needs to be educated on what a fire alarm technician does or why a controls engineer matters. They need someone who already knows.
Ryan spent over 14 years inside some of the best talent firms in the country, learning the craft of recruiting at scale and building relationships across the electronic security space. That foundation made everything that followed possible.
What he carried out of that experience was a clear vision: a firm built around deep specialization, long-term relationships, and a standard of care that treats every placement as the beginning of something, not the end. Network Mountain is what that vision looks like in practice.
We Understand Your Business
Before we search for anyone, we learn your company, your team, and what this role actually needs to accomplish. The brief matters.
We Identify the Real Problem
The role you post and the problem you actually need to solve are not always the same thing. We ask the questions that surface the difference.
We Stay Accountable
From first call to first anniversary and beyond, we are invested in the outcome. The placement is not the finish line. A successful hire is.
How We Operate
We Grow Through the People We Serve
Network Mountain does not grow through advertising. It grows through the people it has placed, the clients it has served, and the relationships it has built over 14 years in one industry.
That means every engagement matters. A candidate we place well today becomes a hiring manager tomorrow. A client we serve with integrity refers us to a peer next quarter. A referral from someone we helped five years ago walks into the best search of the year.
This is not a strategy. It is what happens when you do right by people consistently over a long period of time. We protect that standard because the network only works if the reputation is real.

How We Work
What You Can Count On
01
Intentional from the Start
We come prepared. Every conversation starts with the right questions because the right hire starts with the right brief.
02
Honest at Every Stage
We tell you what we see, including the things that are hard to hear. That is how we protect your time and ours.
03
Career Long, Not Transactional
We are not here for one placement. We are invested in where you go, what you build, and who you become along the way.
04
Accountable to the Outcome
We measure success by whether the hire sticks and performs, not by how fast we closed the search.
